Dr. Julia Brady

Julia has been with Imagine Schools since 2007 as founder of the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, closely overseeing all aspects of the school's development and performance to date.  She holds a B.A. in Sociocultural Anthropology & Economics, a graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Organization from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a doctorate in Education Leadership & Innovation from Arizona State University.

Jill Dinges

Jill has over nine years of experience implementing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.  She was a founding Grade 4 teacher at the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, where she was named Teacher of the Year twice.  After six years with Imagine, she helped implement the IB Primary Years Programme in Frisco ISD.  Jill holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from Austin College, and graduate work in Elementary Education from Augsburg College, as well as TX state certification as Generalist (EC-6).

Helen is passionate about using data to improve classroom instruction and student academic performance. She holds a Bachelor of Science in
Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Education of the Deaf  from the University of Southern Mississippi, as well as a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas, along with Grades 4-8 Generalist, Grades EC-4 Generalist, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Grades EC-12, and ESL EC-12 certifications.

Julie has worked with students in grades K-5 for the past 15 years, and  named Elementary Teacher of the Year.  She was the Primary Years Programme English Language Lead for the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, where she also taught Grade 3 students.  Julie holds  a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington, and TX state certification as Generalist (EC-4 and EC-6), Gifted and Talented, English as a Second Language (EC-12), Texas Reading Specialist, and Texas State Principal Certification.  

Sharon Hinnant

Sharon has been with Imagine Schools since 2012 as the school registrar for the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, and is looking forward to working with families new to Lone Star Language Academy in welcoming them to the school.  She manages the application and enrollment process for incoming families and also notifies families of waiting list status and available openings at the various grade levels.  Sharon holds a B.A. in English from the University of Nebraska and held several executive positions previously before working in the field of K-12 public education.    

Ashley will be overseeing special education, 504, and ESL services. She has provided speech therapy services for the past nine years at IIA-NT for students in grades K-12, working closely with our Special Programs team members. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.

Krissia has been with Lone Star Language Academy (LSLA) since it first opened, and has been a wonderful resource for all LSLA students and families since 2017.  She works closely with all of our families and staff to support student needs during the day.

Ashlea holds a B.A. in Communication from Texas A&M University and Texas state certification in EC-6 Generalist and English as a Second Language.  She has been teaching students in grades K-4 for the past five years and is presently also completing an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, as well as Dyslexia training. 

Briana holds a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay.  She loves working with young children and previously worked with students with special needs and as an Outreach Director.  She holds PK-6 and Special Education Program Aide certification.

Sarah holds a B.A. in Religion from Furman University and Texas state certification in Core Subjects (EC-6), Science (4-8), and English as a Second Language (EC-6).  She has previously worked with K-5 elementary students in a private school setting, as well as at Richardson ISD and Plano ISD. 

Candice holds a B.S. in Special Education from the University of New Mexico and is completing her graduate degree with Texas A&M University.  She has over fifteen years of experience teaching young children and leading teams of teachers.  We are excited to have her join our team at LSLA.

Kate holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A&M University and TX state certification in Elementary Reading (1-8), Elementary Self-Contained (1-8), and English as a Second Language (1-8).  She has over seven years of experience teaching and working with young children, and previously taught Grade 2 students for four years. 

Kristi holds a B.A. in History & Sociology from Texas A&M University and TX state certification in Elementary Self-Contained (1-8) and Elementary History (1-8).  She began working with elementary students in 1992 and has experience working with both public and private schools. She enjoys creating an active learning environment for her students. 

Makayla holds a B.S. in Elementary Studies from Liberty University and TX state certification in EC-6 and English as a Second Language.  She has worked with students at elementary K-5 level for the past three years, and most recently was with Imagine Cortez Park Elementary in Arizona.  We are excited to have her with us at an Imagine campus in Texas!

Latickia holds a B.S. in Business Management from Dallas Baptist University, an M.Ed in Education from the University of Texas at El Paso, and is highly qualified for TX state certification in EC-6 and English as a Second Language.  She has worked with elementary students for the past five years, most recently teaching Grade 4 students in Texas. 

Mandi holds a B.A in Communication and an M.A. in EC-6 Education from Austin College, as well as TX state certification as Generalist (EC-6) and English as a Second Language (EC-6).  She previously taught with Plano ISD and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, working with students in grades K-5.

Jessica holds a B.A. in Visual Arts Education from the Interamerican University of San German, PR, and a certificate in Socio-Emotional Health from Momentous Institute.  She has taught art to elementary students for almost 12 years, and loves helping students understand more about themselves through art and music. 

Elisabeth holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas, certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and is highly qualified in EC-6 and English as a Second Language. She brings a wealth of international experience with her, having taught in Korea, India, and the Philippines, and most recently, with Dallas ISD.

Eduardo has been teaching Spanish since 2002 to both children and adults.  More recently, he taught Spanish with Fluency Kids and with Enriched Schools, as well as with KIPP Academy in Dallas.  He is originally from Venezuela, and holds a B.A. in Law from Fermín Toro University, and certification from José María Vargas University. 

MaryAnn Litt

MaryAnn holds a B.A in Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas and Texas state certification in EC-6, Special Education (EC-12), and English as a Second Language (EC-6).  She has over 8 years of experience working with elementary students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, and is excited to work with our students at LSLA!  

Anat holds a B.A. in Hebrew Literature & Educational Policy and Organization, as well as teaching certification from Tel-Aviv University.  She has over 25 years of experience teaching children in both Israel and the United States.  She has been with Lone Star Language Academy since its inception, and we are thrilled that she is continuing with us. 

Shelley Bertucci

Shelley holds a B.A. in Education from Governor's State University and TX state certification in Social Studies (7-12), Art (EC-12), and Special Education (EC-12).  She has worked with special needs students for the past four years, and most recently, was a Special Education teacher at the Imagine International Academy of North Texas.

Cynthia Remington

Cynthia holds a B.A in French from Texas Tech University, an M.B.A in International Business from Dallas Baptist University, TESOL certification, and Texas state certification in EC-4.  She has been trained in the Scottish Rite Take Flight dyslexia program and has been teaching reading and phonics to elementary students for the past eight years.
